A New Chapter for The Suffolk Nest

    Why Now?

There’s something quite emotional about writing this.

If you’ve been here from the beginning, you’ll know this has never just been a business. It’s been a journey. One that started in the most unexpected way, and one that has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined.

Over the past 12 months, it’s felt like the right time to pause…reflect..and step into our next chapter that truly reflects who we are today and where we’re heading next.

    Where It All Began

When I first started The Suffolk Nest back in 2020, none of this was planned.

Like many businesses born during that time, it began unexpectedly. After Covid cancelled all of my in-person wreath making workshops, Chris and I pivoted and launched a DIY Christmas wreath kit from home. We expected to sell a handful. Instead, hundreds of orders came flooding in almost overnight.

We were packing boxes in our kitchen, filming tutorials, learning everything in real time and simply hoping people would enjoy what we created.

Looking back now, I actually think we built the business backwards… but in the best possible way.

    The community came first.

Before we had collections of faux flowers, before the warehouses, before the product designs and the team we have today, we had people who genuinely connected with what we were creating. The Suffolk Nest was built on emotion long before it was built on products. I think that’s always been our difference.

    Growing into ourselves

Over the last few years, the business has grown in ways I could never have imagined. We’ve gone from our family home to two warehouses. From packing orders into the early hours of the morning ourselves, to an incredible team. From a small seasonal business to designing our own collections of faux florals, trees, planters and home decor pieces that now live in thousands of homes across the UK.

But somewhere amongst all of that growth, I started to feel like our branding no longer reflected the level of detail, intention and refinement behind what we were creating.

The business had evolved…and so I felt like, visually, it was time for the brand to evolve with it.

This rebrand has taken almost twelve months to complete and every single detail has been considered with enormous care.

    Inspired by Suffolk

At the heart of the new identity is Suffolk itself – our home, and the place that inspired the name of our business and continues to shape so much of our creativity today.

The colours throughout the rebrand have been inspired by the Suffolk landscape and the rhythm of seasonal living. Soft greens, warm neutrals and earthy tones that feel calm, grounding and timeless.

Green sits at the centre of everything.

For me, it represents nature, renewal, stillness and growth - all of the things I want people to feel when they welcome our pieces into their homes.

    The meaning behind the logo

The new logo also holds far more meaning than people may initially realise.

The four circles represent the four seasons - something that has always been deeply woven into The Suffolk Nest and the way we design our collections throughout the year. Together, those circles subtly form a nest, a wreath and a floral shape all at once.

It felt important that the logo carried elements of our story within it.

    Looking ahead

The last few years have taught me so much about building a business. But more than anything, they’ve taught me the importance of creating slowly, thoughtfully and with longevity in mind.

I’ve never been interested in chasing trends or constantly reinventing myself, or the brand. I want to create pieces that are timeless, products that you return to year after year, and collections that become part of your homes and traditions.

This rebrand marks the beginning of that next chapter. And whilst so much has changed since those early wreath kit days, the heart of The Suffolk Nest remains exactly the same.

We still care deeply about quality.

We still believe homes should feel beautiful and welcoming.

We still design with the seasons at the forefront of everything we do.

And we still feel endlessly grateful for every single person who has supported us along the way.

So if you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you. And if you’re new here, welcome to The Suffolk Nest.

We’re so happy you found us.
