A Gentle Celebration of Easter at Home

A Gentle Celebration of Easter at Home

Table of Contents

There’s something about Easter that I find feels softer than any other season. It isn’t about the grand gestures or over-decoration. Instead, it’s found in the smaller details — the shifts in colour, the first signs of spring, the gentle layering of pieces that bring a sense of joy to the everyday.

This year’s Easter collection has been designed with exactly that in mind. A celebration of the small, thoughtful touches that make a home feel considered, lived-in, and quietly seasonal.

    The Beauty of Subtle Details

Rather than overwhelming a space, I’ve always believed in adding just a few carefully chosen pieces - the kind that catch your eye unexpectedly and make you smile as you pass by. Our hanging felt bunnies are a perfect example of this.

I designed these in soft tones of yellow and green, each one is finished with delicate embroidered details that give them a truly handcrafted feel. They’re intentionally understated, sweet, but not overly playful - making them just as at home in a hallway or kitchen as they are in a child’s bedroom.

A Simple Way to Lift a Space

Alongside the bunnies, we introduced two gingham bows this year - one in a beautiful butter yellow, the other in a soft sage green. There’s something about gingham that feels instantly uplifting. Familiar, nostalgic, and inherently tied to spring.

Tie them onto the backs of dining chairs for a beautifully dressed table, or add them to cupboard doors for an unexpected detail that feels both effortless and considered. They work just as well on doors or styled on walls - simple additions that completely shift the feeling of a space.

Sometimes, it really is the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

    A Seasonal Statement

For those wanting a slightly larger nod to the season, the Easter wreath brings everything together. Crafted on a natural vine base, it’s intentionally neutral in tone, allowing the texture to do the talking. Delicate eggs are entwined within the vine, creating a piece that feels organic, layered, and deeply connected to the season.

Something that welcomes spring into your home without feeling overwhelming.

    Inspired by Suffolk in Spring

The palette for this collection was inspired by what’s happening around us here in Suffolk right now. The soft yellow of forsythia branches just coming into bloom. The fresh green of new buds appearing on blossom trees. The gentle contrast between warmth and freshness that signals the start of a new season.

I wanted to reflect that feeling - adding touches of colour that bring depth and life to a space, without feeling overpowering.

Texture, pattern, embroidery, and small design details that, when layered together, create something truly special.

    Creating Traditions at Home

One of my favourite pieces within the collection is the Easter tree.

There’s something incredibly special about the idea of creating traditions at home -moments that feel intentional, that children grow up remembering.

Decorating an Easter tree is such a simple ritual, but one that brings so much joy. Carefully hanging each piece, year after year, building a collection of decorations that feel meaningful and timeless. It’s these small moments that define a season and sense of home.

A Thoughtful Approach to Seasonal Living

For me, Easter styling has never been about transforming your entire home. It’s about adding just enough. A bow tied where you wouldn’t expect it. A small decorative detail that catches the light. A wreath that marks the change in season.

It’s these subtle touches that make a home feel its most beautiful.
