We use recyclable packaging wherever possible.  All of our fresh flowers, wreath kits and
faux flower arrangements and stems are packaged in sustainable packaging.
Flowers are elegantly hand tied with twine and wrapped in brown paper while our
faux flower arrangements are tied using approximately 10cm of paper wire which
can be reused.

If you wish to purchase several items and send them to
multiple addresses, you will need to place a separate order for each address
and pay for delivery each time.

As soon as your purchase is on its way you will receive an
SMS with delivery updates and an email from the courier DPD. You can also
download the DPD app to manage your delivery preferences more easily.

Please note, if you have placed separate orders, they may
arrive at different times of the day. Additionally, if you have ordered
multiple items within an order, these may be delivered individually on the same

Faux flowers are an artificial representation of real, fresh flowers, created to be enjoyed forever.

There are a variety of
techniques these days depending on the type of flowers or branches. Some are
hand made from curling each petal, hand painting them and intricately attaching
each part - one rose can take 60 minutes to create! Some are made from moulds
and are quicker to produce.

Being an experienced florist, I have a huge passion for both real and faux flowers. I believe each have their own place. As technology is progressing, faux flowers are becoming increasingly difficult to tell apart from the real thing, they last forever, require very
little maintenance and are allergen free. On the other hand, real flowers will
always be a treat! The beauty of watching them bloom and then fade away will
always be magical to me. My book, ‘House Of Flowers’, uses 100% real flowers
throughout the seasons.

Our outdoor plant collection is UV and weather proof so that the colour will never fade, their zero maintenance and you can enjoy these outdoors. As of yet, I haven’t found any UV proof faux flowers that are good quality due to the manufacturing process these go through. Having said that, if you’re having a party and you want to bring you faux flowers outdoors for the
afternoon, then they will be fine - just remember to bring them in afterwards.

Dusting is the best way to keep your florals looking fresh,
especially if you have white or light-coloured blooms. Use a standard duster or
a dry microfibre cloth to carefully dust the petals, leaves, and stems. You can
swap your cloth out for a soft-bristled paintbrush if you want to really get
into all the small nooks and crannies.

An even quicker method of cleaning your faux flowers is to
take them outside and gently shake them to free any dust. If the weather isn’t
on your side, you can replicate this effect by using a hairdryer on the cool
setting to blast cool air at the stems and loosen any stubborn dust particles.

This is a difficult one to answer, because it depends on how many fresh flowers you buy. But, if you were to spend on average, £6 a week on real flowers, (such as a bunch of tulips, gypsophila or roses) this equates to £312 for the year. This same amount could buy you at least 3 of my seasonal faux flower arrangements to have in your home forever.

Going faux with your floral displays is the best option if you suffer from pollen related allergies such as hay fever. They’re also pet friendly too!

No, but there are varying products out there that you can spritz and spray your faux florals to give off a scent, but I choose not to use these.

Absolutely, yes! With faux flowers becoming more and more realistic, these are a great alien to fresh without the fear of any wilting on your special day, or flaring up any allergies. It’s a very sustainable way of decorating your weddings as many florists can hire these to you and re use them for another event. This seems to be becoming more and more popular.

As long as the stem is plastic then, absolutely, yes! If you’re using a glass vase, like our ‘apothecary vases’, then adding water to your displays adds to the authenticity of them! I love this look! If placing stems in water, then I recommend to trim all of the stems to size with wire
cutters (as opposed to seeing a bent stem) and sealing the exposed wire at the bottom with a small blob of super glue or clear nail vanish to prevent rusting.
Paper covered stems cannot be placed in water.

Dried flowers can add a natural, rustic, and timeless touch to home décor. They require minimal maintenance and can last much longer than fresh flowers.

As with everything I do, flower selection is imperative. Choosing flowers with complimentary colours, shapes and textures will give you the best foundation for a show stopping arrangement. Preparing your dried flowers is also essential, and selecting the best vase or vessel for the space it will be displayed. Creating a balance throughout the arrangement is often overlooked – I always love to make my arrangements look as natural as possible, as if it’s handpicked from the garden – so an understanding of focal flowers and filler flowers and how these work in harmony together will help. These fundamentals are a good start to create the perfect flower arrangement.

Dried flowers can sometimes cause allergies as they do still contain pollen, spores and other allergens that were present when the flower was fresh and alive. However, the severity of an individuals allergic reaction will depend on their sensitivity to these allergens and the specific flowers that have been dried.

To preserve the colour of dried flowers, it is important to dry them in a dark, cool, and well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing them to too much direct sunlight, as it can cause the colours to fade. Additionally, using a drying agent like silica gel helps in retaining the flower's colour.

Dried flowers do have a scent – but it can differ to those traditionally synonymous to fresh flowers. It can vary on the type of flower and the way it has been dried. Some flowers, like roses and lavender are known for their strong fragrances – even dried. Other flowers can lose their scent during thedrying process.

Dried flowers have various uses, such as creating floral arrangements, wreaths, potpourri, pressed flower art, or even incorporating them into crafts like jewellery or resin creations. They can also be used for decorative purposes in home décor or special events.

Like any plant material, dried flowers can go mouldy under certain environmental factors. Factors like high humidity, poor air circulation and exposure to moisture are the biggest risk. However, if you keep your dried flowers dry, and store in a cool and well ventilated area this will prevent mould growth.
