Christmas Staircase Decorations
A beautifully dressed staircase is one of the most welcoming sights at Christmas, and it’s the first thing guests see as they step inside. Our Christmas staircase collection brings together everything you need to create that look: long, lush faux garlands, rich velvet ribbons and rustic bells to finish. Every piece is ultra-realistic and made to be enjoyed year after year.
Choose your garland
For a full, abundant banister, choose the classic look of our Faux Norfolk Pine Garland, the rustic texture of our Larix Pinecone Garland, or the layered greens of our Mixed Foliage Pinecone Garland. Most staircases need two or three garlands joined together. As a guide, measure the length of your banister and allow a little extra for a gentle loop between each tie.
How to style a Christmas staircase
Start at the bottom of the stairs and work your way up, securing your garland to the banister every 30–40cm with ribbon or soft wire. Let it loop naturally between the spindles, then hide each tie with a velvet bow from our ribbon collection. For a finishing touch, add a few Christmas bells or tuck in festive stems for extra fullness. For a step-by-step guide, read how to hang a garland on a staircase banister.
Made to last
Unlike fresh greenery, our faux garlands won’t drop needles on the stairs or dry out in a warm hallway, so your staircase stays beautiful all season. Simply pack them away in January and bring them out again next Christmas. Discover more in our Christmas mantel collection, or browse our full Christmas collection.
